I went ahead and reserved Apollo at capeandcowl. I just couldn't take not being able to use the idea, and now that I'm over being vaguely sick it seemed silly to try avoiding the game for no reason.

He'll be the only AJ-era character there, I'm pretty certain, but as long as the PW-era cast people don't ignore him I'll probably do just fine. Normally I don't mind not having canon-mates, but someone will need to be there to help him work through his is-this-justice issues and possibly persuade him to get powers training. (The Phoenix there actually looks great and it also looks like his mun gave him the same crisis of justice thing, I hope they're willing to get some interaction going because it'd be awesome ; 3; ).

My stray, it is more homeless than yours

As a few of you know by now, we found a stray puppy that had been hanging around the neighbor's yard, hiding in one of the tree debris trash piles that was close to the property line between our houses. Last night, my sister successfully got this collar on her and carried her inside.

She's (apparently) a pitbull terrier, with a cream coat and light-colored eyes. There was no identification on her when we found her. So far, she acts very skittish and shy, but does wag her tail when there's people around giving her attention - though you have to corner her to pet her. She seems to enjoy huddling up in corners in general. That's what makes my parents think she might've been abused before someone dumped her out here. I literally live on the outskirts of town, so this area is fairly rural.

Other than having a tick and a flea or two (and we did give her a flea bath after these pictures were taken), she was amazingly bug-free. However, those dark spots on her snout? It looks like her snout got scratched up and it's dried blood covering the wounds. She also seems to have something, because my dad told me there's pus-filled spots on her tummy. :[

Right now, the plan is to find someone to take her in via my sister and me asking around. I'd like to keep her, but... my parents don't want pitbulls around, and plus, Zoe keeps being hyper and loud (not to mention freaking out in general from smelling another dog).
